ELLE magazine made a shoe design competion with the brand Shoe Shi Bar. 

I was chosen amongst 1000 of contestants as the final 5 with my architectural shoe design.

This was about design a product from either industrial waste, pre consumer waste or post consumer waste.

 

I wanted to create a wearable garment of bicycle tire tubes and was inspired by the charleston period. 

 

The last picture has the critic from the judges added. However, the english is not that good.

ENTERED DESIGN COMPETITIONS

To develop as a designer, I enter different design competitions whenever I can.

ECOchic Desgin Award

 

I was chosen to represent Denmark at the ECOchic Design Award 2014/2015 in Hong Kong

For the competition I made a 6 outfit upcycled collection out of discarted doilies and secondhand knitwear that I unravelled and handknitted/crochet for my looks.

Copenhagen Secondhand Fashion Show 2015

 

The brief was to create an outfit entirely made out of seconhand textiles or other discarded materials for this competition held by Tradono.dk
